Obituary

MRS. SARAH DUNNE.
There passed away in Warracknabeal on Saturday a very old colonist in the person of Mrs. Sarah Dunne, relict of the late Mr. Patrick Dunne, at the ago of 87 years. Mrs. Dunne died the residence of her son, Mr. John Dunne, with whom she had been living for a number of years. The deceased was a native of Queen's County, Ireland. She landed in Victoria in 1852, and was in Ballarat at the time of the Eureka Stockade. Mrs. Dunne was a woman of kindly and cheerful disposition, and was highly esteemed by all who know her. She leaves a large family of seven sons and one daughter. With the exception of one son, who is in Perth, the members the family are settled in different of this state. The internment will take place at Ballarat to-day.[3]
