Obituary

The death has occurred at Brunswick of Mr Robert Phillips, who was electoral inspector at North Melbourne after a long career in the Education Department. He arrived in Victoria 71 years ago with his father, the late Robert Phiilips, and his brother, Mr C. C. Phillips, of Rock Lead, near Ballarat, also a retired school teacher, who is 75 years of age. Both brothers were in Ballarat at the time of the Eureka Stockade riots in 1854.[1]
