Background

Capuano was born in 1818 at Aversa, Italy, arriving in Australia in 1850. Capuano married Agnes Little Bell in 1856, and his second marriage was to Emily Edmonds in 1891. He died in 1915, and is buried at Creswick Cemetery. [1]

Goldfields Involvement, 1854

He was living at Daylesford in 1854, and Creswick in 1855/6. It is thought that Capuano was a participant at Eureka. [2]
