Obituary

Mr. R. B. MIcher, electoral registrar, of Ballarat East, died yesterday, aged 68: He was an old digger, and was present at the encounter between the diggers and the Military at the Eureka stockade in 1854. A large number of old pioneers attended his funeral to-day, and the various Wesleyan Sunday schools and other bodies were well represented in the cortege.[1]


A Eureka stockader named R. B. Micher died at Ballarat East on Saturday.[2]
