Background
George Eureka Ballarat Spicer was born in 1885 at Ballarat. His parents were John Spicer and Maria Simpson.[1] George married Blanche May Oliver in 1909. He died in 1942 at Preston, aged 57.[2] He was cremated on 19 March 1942 at Fawkner Crematorium.</ref>
