Roger Pitt (passenger number 181)aged 22 years and Charles Pitt (passenger number 154) aged 19 years departed Tasmania aboard the vessel Platina in 1845.[1] Charles and Roger both arrived in Sydney, Australia in 1837 on the Success, born 1823 and 1826 respectively.
Roger Pitt was born in Tiverton, Devon, England to Samuel Pitt and Ann Hutchings/Hutchins. Charles and Roger both arrived in Sydney, Australia in 1837 on the Success, born 1823 and 1826 respectively.
