Background
Michael Moore with his wife Mary Considine left County Clare Ireland on the ship Sir Robert Sale in 1853. They brought three children with them to Australia, Patrick Moore, Ellen?, and Thaddeus Moore. Their fourth child Susan (Joanna) was probably buried in Ireland. Note: the ship is sometimes called the Sir Robert Sand or Sands.[1]
