BALLARAT. - Among the relics received for the Ballarat Historical Museum in recent weeks is a revolver from the Eureka "battlefield." This was a weapon told to have been used by John Lemmone, father of the famous flautist, at the fight at the Stockade on December 3, 1854. It has been given to the museum by Mrs. J. Selover, of Ascotvale, a daughter of the pioneer. [1]
