STOWE.-On the 5th September, 1918 at her residence, 62 Gold street, Collingwood, Mary Ann, relict of the late James Stowe (formerly of 40th Regiment, Indian Mutiny, Maori war, and Eureka Stockade), loved mother of Thomas (musician, Queensland), William (New Zealand), Elizabeth (Mrs. Nelson, of Wellington. New Zealand), Grace Mary- Mrs. Muir, North Fitzroy), aged 81 years.[1]
