Background

Goldfields Involvement, 1854

Private (3130) Haymen Crude was a member of the 12th Regiment, and was probably present during the Eureka Stockade battle. According to the regimental pay lists Private Crude spent nine days in the military hospital after the Eureka battle.[1]

Post 1854 Experiences

Private Crude was posted to Castlemaine. [2]
