Background

Thomas Dignum was born in Sydney, Australia

Thomas Dignum was one of four known Australian born insurgents in the Eureka Stockade. He was one of the pikemen.[1]

Goldfields Involvement, 1854

Dignum signed the Benden Hassell compensation petition.
