One of the few remaining pioneers of the fifties, Mr. T. B. Trezise, died last week at East Brunswick (V.). On the eve of the historic Eureka fight. He and another youth were actually in the stockade, and could not get out, but meeting Peter Lalor they told him their plight, and he had them escorted from the stockade. In

after years Mr. Tresize was connected with the Mines department, being inspector of mines for the Maryborough district. He leaves a grown-up family.[1]
