Background
Born 1834 at Kilfenora County Clare Ireland, and came to Victoria with his parents, brother and sister in 1853 in the ship Sir Robert Sale.
He died on 27 September 1911 at his residence Massey, and is buried at Watchem Cemetery.
Goldfields Involvement, 1854
Patrick Moore's brother, Thaddeus Moore, was mortally wounded in the Ballarat Riot in 1854.
Post 1854 Experiences
Patrick Moore afterwards followed the occupation of carrier, going twice to New Zealand and continued the occupation successfully for some years. After returning to Victoria he took up land at Pomberneit where he resided for nine years. Leaving the Western District he settled at Massey, accompanied by his sister.
