Background

Patrick Callinan was born in 1832, Ireland. Callinan was the cousin of John Hanrahan. Callinan married Bridget Coffey at St Alipius' Ballarat on 21 February 1860.[1]

At the age of 72 Callinan died in Collingwood in 1902 of Miner’s Phthisis[2], and was buried at Boroondara Cemetery on 20 November 1902.[3]
