(Possibly also known as Eureka Nancy) Nancy Quinane married Mathew Ryan who died in 1870. Nancy later married Archibald McAuley. She is buried at Dowling Forest.
Goldfields Involvement, 1854
Nancy was present during the Eureka Stockade battle. There was a National School tent within the stockade with an enrolment of 40 children, Nancy is said to have looked after the children during the battle. Nancy Quinane assisted in the amputation of Peter Lalor's arm.
