Matthew Ryan was married to Nancy/Ann Quinane.
Goldfields Involvement, 1854
Matthew Ryan was a miner at Ballarat and put in a claim for 60 pounds compensation resulting in the loss of his tent during the storming of the Eureka Stockade on 03 December 1854. J.B. Humffray was a witness to the claim.[1]
