IN THE EUREKA STOCKADE
WOOMELANG, Wednesday – Mrs. Kate Kelly, wife of Mr. John Kelly, died on Tuesday night, at the age of 66 years. Deceased was in the Eureka Stockade on the night before the attack, and her grandfather carried her away to safety. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly were amongst the earliest settlers in this portion of the Mallee.[1]- ↑ Argus, 21 August 1913
