Background
John Lockwood Westoby was born in 1826 at London, England. As a 28 year old he sailed to Australia on the Himalaya, arriving in Australia in 1852.[1]

Family
John Westoby married Margaret Stewart in 1855 at Castlemaine, Victoria. She died in 1861.[2]
In 1863 John Westoby married Eliza Frances Angus at Chewton, Victoria. She died in 1875.[3]
Notes
Sometimes John Westoby is incorrectly confused with Henry Westerby.
