Background
John Torpy was born June 1827at Co, Clare, Ireland. He arrived in Australia in 1853, and married Bridget Hogan. Torpy died on 12 July 1907, aged 80.
Goldfields Involvement, 1854
John Torpy fought with the diggers during the Eureka Stockade.[1]
Post 1854 Experiences
John Torpy settled at Bungaree around 1860.
