John Paterson
Background
John Paterson fought with the miners at the Eureka Stockade[1] according to family tradition.
Family
John Paterson's son, John, was born in Ballarat and married Margaret Moore in 1884. Their son, William John, was born at Warrnambool in 1887.<ref>
