John North married Elizabeth Ann Doyle.[1]

According to family history John North was at the Eureka Stockade in 1854.[2]

John North was the licensee of the North Star Hotel. When it closed in 1891 Mrs North was the owner. He attended the 50th anniversary of the Eureka Stockade,[3] and his 50th anniversary commemorative ribbon is held by Museum Victoria.[4]
