Background

John Fenwick was from Denmark.

Goldfields Involvement, 1854

Fenwick was arrested after the Eureka Stockade. A report described Fenwick as having a sailor-like look, and appears strong and active. [1]

Fenwick was captured by Private Hynott after the Eureka Stockade battle. He escaped but was recaptured by Private Gould.[2]
