Background
James Lang was born in 1822. His parents were Andrew Lang and Elizabeth Dick. James Lang died on 28 July 1911. [1]
Goldfields Involvement, 1854
Lang was a miner who was inside the Eureka Stockade on 03 December 1854.[2]
Post 1854 Experiences
James Lang became a farmer at Bangerang near Warracknabeal. He attended the 50th anniversary of the Eureka Stockade.

- BANGERANG- Miss M Lang an old resident, has died. Her father the late James Lang was one of the earliest settlers, and he opened the Bangerang Post-office more than 50 years ago. [3]
