Background

Hans White married Amelia and their son Hans was born in 1856, and baptised at St James Church of England, East Melbourne. [1]

Goldfields Involvement, 1854

White arrived in Ballarat from Melbourne on 25 (or 28) October 1854. He was stationed at the Government Camp while other soldiers stormed the Eureka Stockade. [2]

Post 1854 Experiences

White retired from the army on 28 October 1859. [3]
