Ballarat Courier. 4th July 1916 Page 5 ORBITUARY Mr Frank Faulks, a well-known Dunolly identity, has passed away at the age of 98 years 8 months. Up to within a few weeks ago he had possessed extra ordinary vigor, and retained full possession of all his faculties. He was a great reader and a close student of the Bible. His memory was remarkable, and he would recount incidents of the stirring events of the early days. He was a native of Nottinghamshire, England, and had been in the State over 62 years. He came to the Dunolly district (writes our correspondent) in 1861 from Ballarat, where he has resided for many years, and was there at the time of the Eureka Riot. He was a member of the Stock Exchange, and a prominent member of the Methodist Church. There are two daughters and one son, 25 grandchildren, and 57 great grandchildren.
