Daniel Selman

Background

Daniel Bond Selman was born in 1828 at Bath, England, the son of John and Jane Selman. He was a millwright at Ballarat. He died in 1909.[1]

Goldfields Involvement, 1854

Selman witnessed the the Eureka Stockade.[2]


Post 1854 Experiences

Daniel Selman was in possession of a Miners Licence. He owned the Steam Timber Mill at Bullarook and was listed as a Timber Merchant, Sturt Street, Ballarat.
