Background
Brigid Callinan was the sister of Patrick Callinan, Thomas Callinan and Michael Callinan. [1]
Bridget Callinan died of pneumonia in 1869 aged 46.[2]
Goldfields Involvement, 1854
Bridget Callinan's three brothers were injured during the Eureka Stockade. She distracted the soldiers after the event while her brothers escaped. They were all later arrested.[3]
