Background

Goldfields Involvement, 1854

Alexander Tough was an eye-witness to the storming of the Eureka Stockade on the morning of 03 December 1854. He lived with his wife and family, as well Llewellyn Rolands who was shot after the Eureka battle. Tough gave evidence at the Goldfields Commission.on 26 December 1854.[1]
