- MOUNT EGERTON, Tuesday.
- Henry Downing of Canadian, who has died; was a trooper at Eureka on tile morning of the rising, and, when in reminiscent mood, related many stirring incidents of the Stockade. He was a brother of Sir George Downing, of the British Navy.[1]
